DIY Garden Journal

You will each be keeping a journal of our time in the garden.  This is the Green Academy so of course we will be making our journals out of recycled materials!

Assignment: Bring 3 items to share in our book making session.  Ideas: cardboard, paper with one side used, cereal box, yarn, magazines, paper bags, playing cards, greeting cards, damaged books.

Due Date: Friday, August 29th.  Cannot be late. We will be making the journals in class that day.

Letter to your Green Academy Teachers Assignment

It is important that we learn a little bit about each of you.  The purpose of this letter is for you to tell us about your self, your experiences, your hobbies and what you expect to learn in this class.   Please address the letter to "Green Academy Teachers" and include today’s date.  Your letter should, at a minimum, cover these topics and can be hand written or typed.
